Chiang Mai police have arrested a lady boy who deceived an Australian tourist to have sex then stole his property. The lady boy confessed to the crime and said that he wanted money in order to have a transsexual operation.

CHIANG MAI – December 20, 2013 [PDN]; at 3.00 p.m. Pol. Col. Aksorn Wongyai (Superintendent of Chiang Mai city police station), Pol. Lt. Col. Kraisri Jullaphan (Inspector) together with the detective police team arrested Mr. Arthit Kunaphan, aged 31 who was the defendant according to the arrest warrant from Chiang Mai provincial court at J.611/2556 dated December 20, 2013 of the allegations of stealing property at night which consisted of 1 Casio wrist watch and many mobile phones.

On December 1, 2013 the police was notified that at 210 of Sin Kaew apartment, address 26 Ratchiangsaen road, Tambon Chang Khlan, Amphur Mueang where Mr. Jeremy, aged 46, from Australia had been robbed of 1 silver bronze Mac Book Air notebook with monitor size 11 inches, 1 Casio wrist watch and cash 2,500 THB.

Upon questioning Mr. Jeremy, the police perceived that he was walking down Chang Moi road, Chiang Mai province where he met a lady boy who persuaded him to have sex at his room in Sin Kaew apartment. After they had finished having sex he then he fell asleep but when he woke up in the morning he found that all of his belongings were missing so he notified the police. After the police received notification then they knew that the ladyboy thief was Mr. Arthit so they asked for an arrest warrant from Chiang Mai provincial court and followed up to arrest him at his home.

Mr. Arthit (the lady boy defendant) confessed that previously he had done this 3 times and most victims are foreign tourists that he would deceive to have sex and after they had finished having sex he would steal the victims’ property and flee the scene. He said that he had to commit these type of offences because he needed the money to take care of his mother and to have the transsexual operation.
