Sounds good, a budget airlines getting into the long haul flight market - more competition may be lower prices , 1,2,3 yeaaaa

Thailand's Nok Air and Singapore's Scoot plan to set up a new budget carrier in Bangkok amid growing demand for low-cost travel in the region.

Im flying Scoot out of Sydney for the first time in 9 Days.

The big layover always turned me off, but after my travel agent used them recently he has convinced me to give them a go.

The biggest positive is that the normal 33hr there and 13 return has been reduced by flying a second airline into Bangkok with no penalty.

A SYD > BKK flight would get a great reception here.

I also like the idea of a full business upgrade for $90 at checkin.

Ill see how things go and worst case scenario ill end up in Patts.
