Well – Known Prostitute Agent Arrested

Detective region 5 have arrested a well-known prostitute agent. He confessed to supplying under aged girls to many different offices and officers in the Phang area.

CHIANGMAI – December 17, 2013 [PDN]; at 00.15, Pol.Col.Weerachon Boontawee, detective department director, with detective officers of region 5, arrested Mr.Surachart Yawichian, or Tom, 29 years old at his home town address 69, moo 6, Sansai, Phang, Chiangmai, and charged him with human trafficking. The young girls aged between 15-18 years old would be managed by him. He would deceive them by convincing them and other people to work as prostitutes with or without their consent.

The investigation started after the police found that there was a transsexual person who often deceived women and children in the Phang area to become prostitutes, so the police sent detectives to watch her, and sent up a spy to entrap by pretending to buy a service from her. He was a well – known tranny in Phang. The police made an appointment with her to send 3 under 18 years old girls to a hotel. When she arrived she had 3 16 years old girls and charged the spy 1,500 baht for each girl. The police showed their identities and arrested her.

Mr.Surachart confessed that she had done it for many years, by finding good looking girls from schools in Phang, and she would send them to government officers, in many offices, and also sold them to tourists, she took 500 baht for herself and girls kept the rest. But if the girls were still virgins the price would go up to 10,000 baht.
