Need help with Translation :)

Been using google translate and thai2english but this sentence, I'm not 100% sure what its trying to say, if someone could translate it for me, it'll be greatly appreciated

 

อย่าได้ถามถึงอดีตและปัจจุบันถ้าคิดจะคบกันต้องรักกันด้วยจัยไม่ใช่แค่คั่นเวลา......

Just wondering what you mean by the quote in the brackets, do you mean the sentence is trying to imply that their waiting for someone better to come along?

I do not know Thai .. and I do not know how to translate Thai to English .. 

but ..

I think it means .. 

 .. forget about what happened in the past .. your past experiences .. quit waiting for "someone better"

and go with what/who you have now .. 

 

now, whether that is good advice .. or just someone trying to convince you to stay/be with them .. is a different story

No, exactly the opposite

 

Many people hate being alone and would rather be with someone even if it isn't Mr./Mrs. Right.

She doesn't want that, she wants to be together because of love, and not just as a way to pass the time

I was daunted by this at first, but it's actually not too difficult, once you get the hang of it.
