I stayed at this hotel for three nights on the 27th, 28th & 29th of January 2007.

With an inter-connecting door to my friend sexy beasts room,

 

Spacious bathroom, with shower and bath, wash basin and toilet,

 

Mini-bar, stocked daily and big enough for extra personal goodies,

Summary.

 

The Mike Orchid Resort is a graet place to stay for a few days, a brand new hotel with five star amenities.

We walked in and booked the hotel a few days before checking-in and we paid the published room rate for a standard room of 2,500 baht per night, excluding breakfast. This did not matter as i'm never up that early anyway!

 

It was a very pleasant stay, the staff were very friendly and housekeeping was excellent. I had room service a couple of times and the food was very tasty and well presented. My room was very spacious and had a nice breeze from the balcony, the T.V. channel selection was good and I loved the wood polished floor. The only thing the room lacked was an in-room safe, although safety deposit boxes are available at reception. I also understand from my friend that the wi-fi internet connection was poor from his room.

 

The only thing I was slightly deterred by was the thought of paying the 600 baht joiner fee! However this was left off of my final bill.

 

I would recommend this hotel 100% and give it a 9 out of 10.

i stayed next door to here at the bella villa prima and walked by it all the time...it is a very nice looking place...and with the rooms looking so nice i may have to give it a try next time

I went and looked at this hotel.

 

It was nice and it looked relaxed with nice rooms but in my book so expensive.

 

I like to pay no more than 1000 Baht for my Acomodation in Pattaya max.

 

Location and standards sure count but 2000 or more per night is not for me in Pattaya.

 

Bangkok I know I need 2000 Minimum or more for a nice room in a hotel.

 

The hotels have shot up there prices in the last year or two and with now only 60 Baht to the Pound £££ it is more expensive.

Eh...Yeah... Could you explane that for me. I simply dont understand YES or NO on that question.

What is described in the report regarding the hotel is that you have to pay a 600 baht joiner fee.
