2 Females Who Drugged Turkish Tourists Arrested

Police arrested 2 females who drugged 2 Turkish tourists then stole their property of almost 1 million THB. They escaped to hide in Bangkok but they were finally arrested in their room by the tourist police and confessed to all allegations.

BANGKOK – December 7, 2013 [PDN]; Pol. Lt. Col. Aroon Phrompharn (Inspector) mobilized forces of police team to arrest Ms. Nootchara or Mod Roongrueang, aged 27, address 159 Moo 5 Tambon Huay Rai, Amphur Mueang, Amnart Charoen province and Ms. Phiraya or Ploy Yodkasem, aged 31, address 9 Moo 11 Tambon Kok Charoen, Amphur Kok Charoen, Lopburi province according to the arrest warrant of Pattaya provincial court No. J168/2556 dated February 27, 2013.

Pol. Lt. Col. Aroon Phrompharn (Inspector) revealed that Ms. Nootchara or Mod Roongrueng and Ms. Phiraya or Ploy Yodkasem together drugged 2 Turkish tourists at the Riviera Resort hotel in room number 106 and 107 Tambon Na Kluea, Amphur Banglamung and stole their property which consisted of cash 40,000 U.S. dollar, Thai cash 100,000 THB, 2 mobile phones, totally more than 1 million THB then escaped to hide in Bangkok.

The police had gathered all the evidence and found out that Ms. Nootchara or Mod Roongrueng, aged 27, lived at Udomsuk condominium, Udomsuk road, Bangna sub-district, Bangkok so the officers watched for Ms. Nootchara to appear then the officers showed her the writ which Ms. Nootchara confirmed that it is her real name and real address after that the police investigated her further to also arrest Ms. Phiraya or Ploy Yodkasem, aged 31, at NRC room, Soi Ladkrabang, Ladkrabang road, Ladkrabang sub-district, Bangkok according to the writ of Pattaya provincial court No. J169/2556 dated February 27, 2013 which were the persons that were in the CCTV footage in Familiy Mart shop then the officers detained both of them.

Initially, the 2 defendants confessed that they did drug the Turkish tourists and stole their property .They were then sent to the investigation officer of Pattaya police station to be prosecuted further according to the Thai law.

Two 51-year-old Turkish tourists were drugged and robbed in their North Pattaya hotel rooms by two women they met at the Dolphin Roundabout. The ladies had offered them sex massages, but later spiked their bottles of Green Tea drinks. After the Turks passed out, the women stole their room safes containing 1 million THB of cash and valuables.

hm I always wonder about these stories, who has that kind of dough and sleep in a dodgy hotel room, goes to pick up freelancers who has more tools than a carpenter?

 

If the story is true the police involved were probably promised a big success fee for clearing up this incident.

And again, the usual victims in the Pattaya media.

 

Many of these types of crimes probably go unreported due to potential embarrassment of having your name/face in the paper being robbed by some bargirl or ladyboy.

 

Which means it only spurs more of these types of robberies as it goes unpunished.

If I read the report correctly... Whats up with this hotel not noticing 2 women walking out with safes they had smashed off the frames???

These women must have thought they won the lottery when they finally got he safes open.

Good job by the police to catch them.
