Fatty fish and wild meat(venison)

Hi,

 

maybe anybody can help me. I am looking for local fatty fish, for the moment I find that I can buy there local mackerel(short body) and I saw big mackerel as well there(spanish??). Maybe anybody can advise me with local names of fatty fish, I heard  that local herring is possible to buy( but what is the local name, I dont know).

 

My second question is where can I get wild meat( like wild boar, deer, crocodile(this one i heard its available at pattaya floating market?), and maybe other kind of wild meat? I will be appreciate if somebody can help me.

There is a fish Market up at Nakula Road, on left side.. About 3klm up from Ring road near Beach Rd . Dont know about the meat. Use to buy good steak at Foodmart at pattaya Klang...

I was on market near tukcom but most of this fish is not fatty fish which is flavourless for me. maybe if i know the thai name will be easier to find something. Anyway when come back from work I will try this naklua fish market.

Those market up Nakula road, Lots of fish out there  with few fisherman Boat aside., Have a look there and see.. Let me know how you get on.

Well the obvious and tastiest one would be the Thai Catfish the wild boar is often sold in simple Thai estabishments the girls always look for x 3 small hairs on the skin to make sure it is genuine sorry forget the name something to do with  ( wild ) moo

Looks like the makro is the place which can solve my problems. Anybody knows if I need any membership to do shopping there?

No, go to customer service when you walk in, they will give you a small slip of paper with a number on it which you give to the checkout staff.

Yes it is all at Makro, its in a chest freezer about 15mts past the fish area on the left.
