HIV Risk in Patts/BKK

Heard that the HIV occurrence amongst P4P girls in the LoS is quite high. Anybody have any firm knowledge of what percentage of BGs, etc, might be carriers? Of course, most sensible people use protection (most of the time) but wonder how much of a concern this fact is.

That would be my take on things, also. Higher scale girls look after themselves better, and take fewer risks. But risk generally higher than in a place like London.

Not the best advice. The risk goes with the chance the girl will have sex without a condom - not where she works.

 

If she says yes to you without a condom then she has probably said yes to many handsome men before you as well.

 

Maybe agogo girls are better educated to only have sex with a condom but I doubt it.

 

And remember the younger and to some extent more attractive they are the more likely they have a thai boyfriend in the background who they probably never ever use a condom with and he may well be going round sticking his dick in other TGs without a condom while she is out earning his whiskey money.

Most new research say the risk of getting HIV from vaginal sex is pretty low for a man. For a woman it is higher, for anyone that takes a load in the ass, highest sexual risk. Sharing needles, highest risk.

Ok, to the above replies, I'm not saying anything about having unprotected sex nor am I advising anyone to do so based on where you take a girl from.

 

I was simply stating my opinion on the risks of working girls in Pattaya/BKK having HIV.

 

And my opinion is that the chances of a working girl having HIV is higher for those who are free lancers or on beach road compared to girls from gogo's.

 

That's simply because gogo's seem to have a better sense of control over their girls including medical check ups and emphasizing safe sex.

 

Now I'm sure some of you have stories of gogo girls faking their tests and whatnot. But the reputable gogo's including the more popular ones featured on this website surely test their girls for HIV/STD's. Are freelancers and beach road girls self 'motivated' to do so?

My humble experience on FL and BR makes me state the same. the majority I've taken to PSGuesthouse insist on condom. They even bring the subject before getting to the room to make sure I have some condoms with me.

I did read on this forum where someone said "HIV is manageable now", suggesting it may not be such a big deal to catch it. Do you feel like this? Remember there are people who like the idea of spreading viruses. Almost for revenge.

If a lady is not working in an 'establishment', why not, would be my thinking? But I guess the test or red flag would be an 'up to you' attitude regarding the use of condoms.

Was speaking recently to the owner of a bar in Soi 6 who said that in 8 years of working on the 6 she had direct knowledge of only 2 girls there (in soi 6) that had HIV. They both carried on working after being diagnosed. This was some years ago before the meds got better. They both died of AIDS.
