US gov't weighs permitting cellphone calls on planes

WASHINGTON -- RULES against making cellphone calls during airline flights are ``outdated,'' and it's time to change them, federal regulators said Thursday, drawing immediate howls of protest from flight attendants, airline officials and others.

I dread the day they allow this in all planes. Imagine having the backpacker couple using up their credits with crap such as "oh, they were so poor but we did what we could" Or "They vegetarian meal was so bland" as you are trying to sleep and forget that you are heading home. Although the "what are you doing" and "I am in my loom Teerak" might get a few laughs.
