Hey guys  :hello09:

Travelling down to LOS in january, but are struggelig to find a hotel with decent price and deposit. Last time we stayed at The Stay and enjoyed the roof top pool where we could enjoy the sun. Tried to pre-order there a couple of days ago, but it seemed to be full-booked (wtf??). Are there so many peoples down there at this time? January-february?

I've been looking at Page10, which is right over the street (soi 10), but my opinion was that Page10 was a little bit expensive for it's quality - though I've never been there.

Suggestion's will be appreciated!

Regards

The two SeaMeSpring hotels also on Soi 10 have nice roof top pools. The Flipper Lodge on Soi 8 (?) also has a roof top pool.

Page10 is a bit on the expensive side, but if you value a good bathroom, it is worth the money.

I am a bit on the tall side, and hate to stand hunched in either a bathtub or under a shower head installed by a 5 foot Asian guy, who was too lazy to get a ladder. Page 10 has the ceiling mounted rainfall-style shower head, which I really appreciate!

high season fills fast, another factor may be an influx of mongers that normally travel to AC, the crackdown there has become more intense with the only let up being due to the typhoon taking away the authorities focus.

Thanks for suggestions guys. Appreciated. But 2100 baht for one night is kinda ''over our budget'' concidering we are 4 people's travelling together and would like to stay at the same hotel (staying for three weeks). I have no problem paying 2000 baht a night, but my friends where thinking maybe around 1000-1500 maximum baht pr night. The hotel doesn't have to be next to WS, just as near so we can walk there without going threw the whole city.

Cheers

Pattaya Bay Resort has a rooftop pool (second rd behind Avenue complex). Check their prices, but should be in your budget range. There is building work going on round about, but its a good hotel and the pool gets sunshine all day.
