IT COULD BE YOU!

Leeds United are urging football fans of all clubs to join together in the

fight for justice.

The club are appealing to supporters from every club across the country to

add their names to an online Downing Street petition to Prime Minister

Gordon Brown to request the removal of the 15-point sanction imposed by the

Football League on the eve of the season.

“This isn’t about Leeds United – it’s about justice and fair play.”

The club has already been overwhelmed by the support of fans from all clubs

– and almost 20,000 have signed the online petition since Friday.

Leeds United chairman Ken Bates said: “The support is very encouraging.

People are beginning to realise that this isn’t about Leeds United and that

‘it could be us next.’

“We already have Luton and Bournemouth in administration, who could have

similar problems in placating the Revenue, Rotherham are suggesting they’re

going to go into administration, and others are in very similar situations.

Who could be next?

“This isn’t about Leeds United – it’s about justice and fair play. We're

hoping all fair-minded fans of whichever club they support will sign up.

Every one helps because this is a matter of principle.”

Ken bates wouldn't know justice if it bit him on the arse.

I really hope Leeds make it back to the prem, they are missed.

However i think the football league itself is in danger of falling apart if the FA can't enforce the decisions they make.

How can the leauge run if clubs sue them everytime they make a decision they don't like?

Give it a few years and the title will be decided by lawyers instead of footballers.

I'm no fan of Dennis Wise, but he must have thought the shit was really about to hit the fan if he was prepared to dump all the good work he'd done at LU to sit at a desk on the sinking ship which is Newcastle Utd.
