IMPORTANT: Beware of photo shops. Always scan your USB sticks AFTER your visit.

Recommended Posts

Instead of printing photos myself, I bring them to my local Kodak photo shop on a USB stick to have them printed.
It is not only cheaper, but the quality is better and it takes only one day.
They unload the pictures in your presence and transmit them to a lab for processing.
Last time when I reused this USB stick (that I never used for anything else) my virus scanner pointed out a trojan on it.
So, I guess the photo shop’s PC is (probably without the owner knowing) infected.
I do not know if I should inform those people; the problem is they speak minimal English and they will probably not understand what I tell them.
Anyway, I advise everybody to run a virus scan on their USB sticks after each visit to a photo shop.
