Clearly this is just driven by greed but, for me, it would be the beginning of the end of the Prem as an event for the real fans!

I can't see Derby vs Portsmouth type games being of interest, it would be the bigger clubs games that are affected & scheduled overseas, what a fucking joke! The real fans would be forced to miss the games or pay fortunes to travel long distances to see matches that should be at the home stadiums. Talk about another nail in the coffin of our once great game.

Is it just me that feels now we have 4 clubs owned by Seppos, that this kind of crap is being debated.

Next we'll have to have stupid team names to appeal to a wider audience (seppos) and advert breaks every 30 seconds... what a bunch of total bollocks!

Can't see how it will work esp when they say it will add to the final table, Really can't see how?

On a brighter note, It has been annonced that from next year in the premier league you can have 7 players on the sub bench instead of the normal 5.

The premier league having 7 players on the subs bench instead 5 is a

good move. Players will get a game more often and the youth players

will be more likely to get a chance too.

But for the Premier League to consider the idea of staging matches

around the rest of the world? Not a good idea but you can see where

this is going - the lucrative Far East and Middle East markets, the US

and Canada and the emergence of a European Super League. Many

people think that the current UEFA Champions League was to pave

the way for the Super League.

In my view, we play too much football in England already which is one

of the reasons why we've not won a major international Cup since 1966.

So, for the 20 Premier League clubs to agree to extend the season to

39 games or more in my view is just pure greed at work. Footy is

beginning to lose it's soul to filthy lucre .........

I cannot really see it happening, common sense will have to prevail.

An extra game in the season with the points counting, if there is any chance of the big 4 losing out on champs league it will die.

The biggest greediest fuckers in the trough will try to protect there position

They are having a laugh

Footballers will have to travel 2 or 3 days before the game

to get over the jet lag.How long will the season be extended?

Its all about the money( think we have heard that before somewhere)
