Yes it open already, it's an other eastinny hotel, now Eastinny have 5 hotels on soi 7-8, Inn, place, Seven, bella vista and the new one, paradise i think.

What the prices any one know or maybe a website for the hotel!

It's called Eastiny Plaza apparantly and was around 1500 per night,according to reports I've seen elsewhere. Unclear whether that 1500 was an opening discount...

A good hotel if you are an insomniac,I stayed there for 3 weeks in November, Could not sleeep due to the noisey bars across the road pounding out techno music until 5.00am and then construction workers started at 6.00am.

Taking a shower was very risky as one minute the water was freezing and the next it was scalding, one morning the shower head flew off and hit me.

they only had 4 poolchairs at the pool.

I had to use a key to open the electronic safe everytime.

The hot breakfast was cold buffet style.

I paid about 1100 anight because i stayed longer than 1 week, it's probably worth about 800-1000 per night.

Rooms were clean because the hotel was brand new.

It would be difficult to have a regular girl and try to butterfly because the location is in the middle of soi 8 .

Stayed there in January-2008 @ THB1,300 AFB

 

PROS: New clean linen, good AC, safe in room, good water pressure, pleasant employees

CONS: Ditto on need for key for room safe ... electronic safe would have been better

Noise TERRIBLE from adjoining Soi

Breakfast good variety but not too (temperature) hot

 

I would pay a high of THB1,100 AFB at most due primarily because of the NOISE.

I've stayed in Soi 8, at Eastiny place and Flipper, never had problem with the noise.Never hear it with the window/doors shut.

Does help that I get in trollied tho, usually when the sound has died down anyway

I think Sunshine hotel The Res Wing is much better of a hotel.Its in the middle of Soi 8 also.
