Volunteer Police Officer Allegedly Assaults 18 Year – Old

Pattaya - July 18, 2013; Ms. Chamai together with her 18 year-old nephew went to complain and file a report to Pattaya City Police officers after her nephew was assaulted by a volunteer police, which injured the 18 year-old

PATTAYA – July 18,2013 [PDN]; The 18 year-old victim told the police as he was together in a group of seven people, which included his aunt, at South Pattaya, a volunteer police man called him to be inspected at a police booth, the volunteer police officer accused him of staring at him. But as he was being searched, the officer kicked the victim with his combat boot. He repeatedly kicked him in his ribs and arms, he also slapped and punched the 18 year-old. After the volunteer police men had searching and beaten him up, they left the police booth, making the injured victim run to his aunt, which lead to the police report.


Initially, police officers have filed the case in their records and have sent the victim to a hospital for a medical check for evidence purposes. Police will now identify the culprit or culprits in order to arrest and charge them for assault.
