26 Year – Old Escapes Death After Bullet Scrapes His Head Following A Conflict

Just after 4am on Thursday a 26 year old Thai Man was lucky to escape with his life after he was shot following a motorbike accident with teenagers. Fortunately, he was only lightly injured as the bullet just scraped his head.

pdn314.jpgPATTAYA – July 18,2013 [PDN]; A 26 year-old Thai man luckily escaped after he was shot following a following a motorbike accident with teenagers. Fortunately, he was only lightly injured as the bullet just grazed the left side of his face.

He was immediately rushed to Banglamung as the bullet that grazed his face created a flesh wound to his left cheek. The shooting reportedly happened on Pattaya Third Rd.

The victim or 26 year-old Wasan Poomsanit had told reporters that before he was shot, he was involved in a minor accident, where his motorcycle lightly came in contact with another motorcycle. Mr. Wasan said that he had paid 1,000 THB to the owner of the bike in compensation for the minor damage that he caused. Assuming that the case was closed, he carried on driving and joined his friends at a bar near Sophon Market.

Moments later a Pattaya Police Volunteer in uniform arrived to take his ID card, even though he assumed the case was over. Khun Wasan questioned why the volunteer needed the card and after a few minutes the volunteer left empty-handed.

Not long after he arrived at the bar, a Volunteer police officer approached Mr. Wasan and asked for his ID card, but he refused as he assumed that the case was already over.

Moments after the Volunteer police office left empty-handed, a group of 6 men approached Mr. Wasan, they then had a short argument, before one of the six pulled gun and shot at Mr. Wasan at close-range.

Pattaya City police officers are now trying to identify, track-down and arrest the group for attempted murder.
