Hotel Help

I have been frequenting Patts for a good 7 years already and have stayed in about 5-6 different hotels. However, since I live in BKK and nowadays I drive to Pattaya, I am looking for a hotel with a car park. This is where I need help!

Whenever I drove down to Patts, I would stay at Tune Hotel because for one they have a car park, rooms are new and clean (small I know, but spend most of my time outside), and its close to Beach Rd. where I can hop on a songthaew to WS. However, the rooms dont have a balcony! Means I cannot smoke. I have had to stick my head out those wretched windows in order to just enjoy a fag.

SO

I stopped driving and took the bus from Ekamai and stayed at Punyapha Place (located on 2nd Rd very close to Central). The hotel has quite big rooms, is quite new, and most importantly a balcony! However, it lacks parking. I guess I am being a bit too choosy but sitting on an bumpy old bus whilst being hungover isnt really my thing.

Anyways I would like to ask anyones recommendation for a hotel that has a carpark, relatively new rooms, close to Beach Rd or WS, has a balcony, and isnt too expensive. Basically rooms like Tune Hotel but with a balcony, or rooms like Punyapha with a carpark!

Rant over and thank you all :D

Sabai Lodge, Soi 2

Residence Garden, Thapparya (?) Street; get good rate from FLB website

Decent rates for both; both right on baht bus lines

You could try The Cottage up on 2nd Road near soi 2 or 3.  I stayed there a lot between 2004 - 2007.  You might try it but the place isn't new.  There are quite a few other places around.  Welcome Plaza(?) on 2nd Road is another.

It's a good place.  I've known the owner for over 20 years, back way before the hotel even existed.  His daughters actually run the place now.

Gday mate. try areca lodge on soi Diana it has parking, 2 pools, central to everything, good breakfast, girl friendly, across from soi lk metro. It,s all within 10 minutes walk or baht bus/bike if you don,t want to drive while there.

That's a good place as well and close to LK Metro like he said.
