Hotels with decent gym

Any recommendations on hotels with a decent gym, that don't exceed 2000 baht per day, on October?

I need to do the following exercises: Squat, Deadlift, Bench Press, Dips, Chin Ups/Pull Ups

Basically all I need is some dumbells/barbells and a pull up/dips bar.

I've been to the August Suites & April Suites multiple times in the past, but I was a lard ass back then and I never bothered to visit the gym. Anyone knows if they have what I need?

I would forget combining the two. Get the hotel you want and look at going to one on the Tony's gyms.

Even then, I'll have to book a hotel that is near one of Tony's gyms. Any suggestions?

There are two gyms in Soi buckhao but I think one is only for Thais now. The better one is ok. Also there is good one on third road which is an easy taxi ride but you could easily walk from 2nd road or soi buckhao lk metro Soi Diana or Soi honey etc. I would choose my hotel based on the facilities you want ( except gym ) then go to look at the gyms separately.

The gym in Royal Garden Plaza is open to the public to a fee (not sure on the price), free to Marriott guests.  It will have all the equipment you are looking for.

I only do like 50 minutes 3 times a week. It's not worth dropping it completely for 3++ weeks. But you are right about that "routine" thing :P

Agreed, that's what I do!

I've checked into hotels myself and couldn't find a decent gym for that price. Tony has a decent gym on Soi Bukaouw near Target Guesthouse. It's inexpensive, open 24 hours, no A/C but not bad.

The A1 has a decent gym- not hardcore, but enough for the 3 week cover you want. Also has a nice sauna area .

the first time i went to pattaya i spent 4 weeks there. as you can guess, i didn't find an hotel with a decent gym so i did a monthly subscription to an outside gym (not tonys, another one, don't remember the name but i can check if its important. it was very close to soi diana in).

i tried 7-8 hotels in pattaya in all my visits there, never so an hotel with sufficient gym. the hotel i used last time (page 10) had a decent gym for the 13 days trip i did, but decent and nothing more.

the biggest problem with hotel gum is that most of them don't have an air condition, and working out for 60-90 minutes in thai weather without an air condition is like working out in a sauna LOL

your best choice is to find a hotel that is good for your needs regardless of its gym and go to and outside official gym.

I have never paid more 1000 for hotel { I know excellent hotel for 600-700 a night) so maybe this is why ive never seen gym in hotel but there are many fitness gyms (tonys is the most popular,i think) and if you want to travel and keep fit theres always bicycle hire at Canterbury Tales,Soi Chaiyapoon

You want to work out because it releases testosterone which gives you more power for the ladies. Otherwise you end up getting lazier as the trip goes on and before you know it you'll be down to 1 lady per night!

I'm looking for this too as I do a lot of Crossfit and Olympic lifting training here in Los Angeles.

I can do a lot with just some dumbbells and a pull up bar but I'd like to get in some heavy squats with a proper bar and some plates.
