Pick – Up Truck Crashes Into Roadside Shop In Pattaya

A pick-up car’s tire blew up, causing the driver of car to lose control of the pick-up truck, which made the car crash into a roadside shop. The driver of the car later turned out to be a close relative of “Eed Ponglansaon”, singer of the Pong Lang Saon band, a well-known folk music band from Thailand.

PATTAYA – July 15, 2013 [PDN]; In the night of July 14 to July 15, Police and Rescue officers as well as reporters were informed that a car had crashed into a roadside shop at the Sukhumvit Rd. near to the entrance to Sattahip district.

At the scene, police found a Mitsubishi pick-up that was completely demolished on the front after it collided into a roadside papaya salad shop. The driver and passenger within the car were reported to be injured, blood stains were found throughout the seats they were sitting in at.

The 20 year-old passenger was severely injured, she was sent into the Banglamung Hospital in order to receive treatment from doctors. The driver who suffered minor injuries stayed at the scene and was questioned by the police. He told the investigation officers that as he was driving along the Sukhumvit Rd., his front tyre suddenly blew up which caused him to crash into the roadside shop, which of course caused a lot of damage.
