Police Arrest Drug Dealer, Seizing Over 4kg. In Crystal Meth

A 36 year-old Thai national who had over 4kg. of Crystal Meth in possession was arrested after police received information that a drug trade was going to take place in Pattaya.

PATTAYA – July 13,2013 [PDN]; Various highly-ranked police commandants and directors together with investigation officers that contributed to the case held a press conference regarding the arrest of a 36 year-old Thai drug dealer who was reported to be having a drug trade with another drug dealer from Pattaya.

Police Maj. Kacha, one of the speakers at the press conference said that the suspect had over 5 bags of Crystal meth that weighed over 4 kilograms, the estimated worth of the meth was believed to be 12 Million THB.

The suspect confessed to the police that he had purchased the illegal drug from a dealer in Laos, he said that he frequently buys drugs to resell at a higher price in Thailand.

The 36 year-old is now in police custody and will now be charged for several allegation, but the main allegation is for the act of dealing drugs.
