20 Teenage Street Racers Nabbed, 12 Bikes Seized By Police Officers

Police officers were able to detain 20 teenage street races who are widely known to cause accidents and loud noises late in night.

PATTAYA – July 13, 2013 [PDN]; A group of 20 teenagers were arrested after locals had complained that they causing loud noises at Sukhumvit Rd. near the Thepprasit intersection. As soon as police responded to the complaint over 20 police officers and volunteers were deployed to the scene to arrest the troublemakers.

When the racers saw the police approaching the scene, they immediately went on their bikes and escaped, some even abandoned their motorbikes. Since the police officers were quick to react, police surrounded them and eventually caught over 20 racers and seized 12 motorbikes. They were then taken to the Pattaya City Police station and were charged for various allegations.
