Hotels on Patong Beach, Phuket... ?

Hello Everyone !

May I ask if anyone here knows maybe any of these Hotels here (see below)... and what you think / know about it / them... ??

I am looking for a Hotel along Patong Beach, maybe close to the Beach itself, with a nice, spacious, 'friendly' room, a good breakfast buffet, and in a good location (close to the Beach and the Nightlife). What about "girl-friendliness", or "joiner fee"... ? Do you know this Hotel from your OWN stay there... ? How was it... ? What was good... and what not so... ?

There is a "ton" of Hotels in Phuket... and also in Patong... So far, by looking at the Internet, some Booking Sites, and the Hotels respective Websites, I found these Hotels to be of particular interest...:

- Patong Resort Hotel

- Patong Heritage

- Seaview Phuket

- Phuket Salathai

- Burasari Patong Beach Resort

- Patong Beach Resort

Thanks to one and all who can help out here with a good and constructive Post. I certainly appreciate all information !

Best regards,

Hotrod

Sorry, sorry, sorry... !!

I posted this - it seams - in the wrong "Subforum"...  THIS sames to be for Hotels in Pattaya - and the Hotels I am looking at / for should be along the Patong Beach, in PHUKET.

Sorry, my mistake !

Can an Admin please either move it to the Phuket Subforum... Or then delete it... Thank you !

I've stayed in Salathai for about two weeks like 3-4 years ago.  Excellent hotel.  Nice little clean pool.  Restaurant onsite.  I'm pretty sure they had breakfast but don't remember if it was included on not (probably was, it was a while ago and I sleep pass breakfast almost all the time).  Good staff.  Beach is right there.  You literally make a left as you come out, walk like a 1/4 of a block, cross the street and you are on the beach  (like 100-150 meters).  You can bring whoever you want.  No joiner fee (at least for one).  Bangla is like a ten minute walk.   Maybe a couple minutes longer.  Rooms were clean (maybe a little oldish but well taken care of).  I think most, if not all rooms, are facing the pool and the hotel grounds.  Free wifi that worked.  TV was old (only mentioning it because there was nothing else wrong that I could find here ).  You won't be disappointed if you stay there (well that is unless something changed :))  Gl.

You might take a look at the Millennium hotel in Patong. It's about a block back off the beach, but if you book a "lake side" room you'll be over the huge pool. It's connected to the Jungceylon center which has several of the best eatery's on the island. And an outstanding English pub. If you walk through the Jungceylon, the main entrance is right across the street from Bangla road.

The place has a really fine breakfast buffet too.(it's inclusive) And 24 hour room service. I think it's a four star.

I stayed at Tropica Bungalow Resort at Patong a couple of years ago, and it was pretty good.   I had my own bungalow and a terrace with furniture overlooking the gardens, for very little money.   The pool was great, especially at night!.   The resort is situated on the Beach Road, across the road from a beautiful sandy beach, between 2 perfect headlands.   The buffet breakfast is served in the open-air restaurant, which looks out to sea.   At night the restaurant is very popular, and seems to specialise in sea food.   Yet it is just a few yards from the junction with Soi Bangla, the Phuket answer to Pattaya's Walking Street.

One word of caution, if you want to bring home a beautiful Patong girl for the night, you will be asked to pay a joiner fee (I think it was 500 baht, but she was worth it!)

But what about the girlfriendly hotels in Patong? I know hotel/guesthouses like Summerbreeze is guestfriendly but is there any hotels close to the beach and soi Bangla that are guestfriendly? I mean hotels with restaurant and swimmingpool and not guesthouses.

If you want a good guesthouse with friendly staff and very good restaurant, clean rooms, good service and close to Bangla road i would choose Summerbreeze. It is 100% girlfriendly.

I stayed at the Millennium a few months back / awesome location next to the newest mall in Phuket and a small walk to Bangla street where the action is. A tad expensive, claim its 5 star but I will give it a 4 star.

Forget health clinics and gyms. Sex is the best cure. One good night of sex and your problems are gone.
