I am looking for a reasonably priced hotel near the Soi Buakhao / New Plaza area.  A friend who recently left Pattaya mentioned a new hotel that was being built on Soi 11, near the bottom of 3rd rd. Possibly be opening around Christmas and supposedly to have a pool on the roof too.  Anyone know the name of this place or any more info about it?

 

Alternatively, any suggestions for hotels in this area?  I have stayed twice recently at D Apartments which was good but looking a little pricey this Christmas @ 35000.  Considering the New Residence on New Plaza too but a little wary of paying the full amount now rather than a simple deposit.
