Because people share hookahs, and multiple mouths in hookah-smoking social group touch the mouth of the pipe and share the smoke, a person could quite 
literally catch Herpes from the hookah itself. This is something else to think about before inhaling, or even putting your lips on that supposedly sanitized mouthpiece; because some bars and cafes may not clean hookah pipes 
properly.

Well when i got back home from last trip, i had herpes. But dunno whether it was from shisha, but i shared same plastic piece for a while with 2 chicks until 1 of them asked for extra one just for me (the one they used kept getting lipstick from other chicks lips so i suppose that was the reason for me getting 1 for myself)

 

But yeah there's so many possibilities of getting herpes.

Are you sure it wasn't from fucking the 100 chicks you nailed while on holiday?  I just want to know how high the risk is if/when I take the plunge.

If you are on this site and have spent anytime engaged in this hobby chances are you have herpes already. Even a guy that has not participated in p4p but has done or does a fair amount of hooking up most likely has it.

 

If you are worried about shisha pipe cross contamination you might as well worry about bar glasses not being cleaned, public toilet seats, the airplane air, and getting bit by a contaminated mosquito.

 

I am more worried about getting gored by unicorn then some lip fungus.

yes, I have herpes, more than 20 years already and I have NO symptoms and never had any, it was just found by accident and it ain't a big deal....

There seems to be some confusion between cold sore herpes and genital herpes.   I looked it up on the UK's NHS Choices website, www.nhs.uk.   I quote:

 

"Genital herpes is a common infection caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). It causes painful blisters on the genitals and the surrounding areas.

As genital herpes can be passed to others through intimate sexual contact, it is often referred to as a sexually transmitted infection (STI).

HSV can affect any mucous membrane (moist lining), such as those found in the mouth (cold sores).

I have often suffered from cold sores herpes, which I treat with Zovirax cream.   I also once suffered with genital herpes, which my partner and I got treatment for at the Pattaya Bangkok Hospital.   I think it was creams and pills with the brand name Vilerm.   The message is: If you have genital herpes, get them treated professionally, and don't pass them on to anybody!   

 

If you click on 'cold sores' link above, you will see that they are caused mostly by the HSV-1 virus, whilst genital herpes are caused usually by the HSV-2 virus.   However, combining cold sores with oral sex and you may get a mutation!   (HSV-3?)    And mixing oral sex with a dirty hookah and a Thai hooker, and your mutations could reach HSV-999 !

As I always say, it's not if guys will get herpes in Pattaya, but when.

What about herpes on the leg? Is that shingles?

 

My bro in law did a whole tour of Asia and came back to find some patches on the inside of his thigh. As he was in so many places over a short period of time, including Thailand, he has no idea how he got it. He did monger a bit. UK doc said it was herpes

 

I think he's had a couple of break outs which scab over. He reckons he's no symptoms in the 'other' places on the body
