1200 - x amount... they will try to get as much as they can but normally its around 1200bt-1500bt...

Take the bus. Only 120 baht or so. The money you save will pay for a bar fine or two or possibly a beer bar girl LT.

The past couple of times that I've arrived in the daytime,i've taken the free shuttle from airport to bus depot and paid 113 bt for the aircon bus direct to Pattaya.Quicker than the taxis and comfortable.Drops you on Sukumvit (Pattaya) opposite pattaya klang.then taxi from there.Ekami bus from Bangkok will drop you at the bus depot in Pattaya nua for 125bt.If your arriving later at night just pay for a taxi direct to your hotel 900bt fom Mr T.
