2 confirmed dead, about a dozen in serious/critical condition.

 

Looks like the pilot came in too low, tried to pull up and hit the retaining seawall with the tail of the plane. That snapped the tail off and whipsawed the plane onto the runway.

 

It appears that the two fatalities were people in the very back of the plane - one passenger, one maybe passenger or crew member - both "fell" out of the back of the plane - one was on the found on the rocks of the seawall, the other on the landing field.

 

SFO will likely be on limited runways (50% capacity) for the remainder of the day at least. Many flights are on on divert to Oakland (15 miles/35 km further east) or Los Angeles (600 miles/1200km to the South)
