Help about Pattaya hotels ?

HI There!

I need some helpfrom you proffesionals

i tried on some swedish thai forum ,but didnt get so much help
I will travel to Asia and will stop over 3 times in pattaya end of november ,New year and end of January 2014 ,i normaly stay in cheaper (2-3stars) places on soi buakao mostly in sunviewplace.
its a nice place but this time i want to stay on a hotel at beach road with balcony against the beachroad ,so i can just sit down with a cold beer and whatch all the freelancer and ppl walking the parade ;-)

So i have 3 choices right now but need little information from ppl who stayed at these places

first one i already booked and paid its Imperial Residence at beachroad corner soi10,i have seen that place many times when walking at beach road it looks nice (but no pool)

second is AA Hotel beach road corner soi13 ,already booked with booking.com but not paid yet,seems that theres no balcony in the rooms or,the pics of the hotel shows some balconies facing the beach road,but theres a pool with view over beach road

The third is little more expencive but i will finnish my trip with little luxury,its LK Empress, room with balcony against beach road (booked but not paid yet)

I have another choice i want to try sometime also, its pattaya bay resort but its not exactly on the beach road ;-)
So someone who can help me with good and bad things of these hotel choices,are they worth it ?

Stayed at lk empress and i would defo recomend it as a good place to stay,nice rooms,nice staff,good food,good allround hotel.never stayed in the other 2 you mentioned

I stay au AA 2 times, smal rooms without balcony even in front bulding, Mautical Inn on beach road can be a good choice

I stayed at Pattaya Bar Resort my last trip, can't really fault it, the staff were friendly, no joiner fee and the rooftop pool was nice,

No view of beach road of course but nice and central to everything. There have been reports of building works all around it however so that would be something to consider.

In my opinion the best hotel in pattaya is the holiday Inn. Have stayed hilton too but preferred the Inn. They have balconies overlookng the beach. Can be expensive but if you're not going till january then keep an eye out on tripadvisor as they sometimes do deals. You might get for £55 a night. other times they will be asking for close to £70

stayed at the LK empress, very nice hotel. But the eating area downstairs is open air. In a tropical climate- to me thats crazy. There having breakfast and sweating my nuts off !  I prefer the LK on so Diana.

 

I notice hard rock have a good price on Agoda, over the next few weeks. But I guess the dates you are going the prices would be through the roof, as would the H/inn & Hilton.

I was there recently...

 

There is construction all around PBR, next to Areca Lodge, & behind Mercure...  There is construction noise from 8am till dark...

I can recommend the Discovery Beach Hotel which has all you ask for; located in the middle of the Beach Road (right close to Soi6), has balcony, marvellous sea view, nice pool and is available as of about 70 Euro, if you search well.

not on his list but view tallay 6 would meet his needs also if you don't mind a serviced condo rather than hotel

its ok i will decide later PBR i heard to thats construction is going on,and i mailed them and asked about it ,they didnt answer after 5 days

so my choose is LK Empress beach side exp but maybe worth it ?

 

Maybe i will try discovery beach also it looks ok
