Connecting locals and travelers through food and experiences! Withlocals, part of an international organization, is a marketplace where the local Thai people can offer tours, workshops and even home dinner experiences directly to tourists.

By removing the intermediary travel agencies, more jobs will be created for the Thai population. At the same time, tourists receive a more authentic impression of this beautiful country with its warm and open culture.

Thailand has been chosen as the launching country because of its friendliness and ability to make travelers feel at home. In the words of Willem Maas, co-founder of  Withlocals:

“We want to enable people to get a better life by using their own strengths and skills. How amazing would it be to eat together with tourists your favorite homemade Pad Thai and earn money at the same time? Our goal is to create 100.000 new home-restaurants worldwide.”

Everybody is good at something, whether you can cook the best Kuay Tiew, give a fruit carving workshop or know your way around Bangkok, you will be able to provide tourists with a unique experience.

Want to become a host? Visit the website and subscribe for the first launch in September. After the kick-off in Thailand for a small group of tourists and locals, Withlocals will expand to other countries in Asia.
