Vagrant Man Found Dead At An Abandoned Security Guard Post

An unknown male who was believed to be aged from 30 to 35 was found dead at a security guard post. Police revealed that the man was already dead for over 10 days.

PATTAYA – July 2, 2013; At 11.30 PM, Police Lt. Warasuwat Taweerachatapokin of Banglamung police station was informed that a body of a male was found at an abandoned security guard post next to Wiriya Insurance Co. Ltd. right at Sukhumvit Rd. As soon as police received the report an investigation team led by by Police Lt. Colonel Jakkarin Tuasuparp and Police Lt. Colonel Nit Witinankit went to the incident scene to investigate.


The man was found at an abandoned factory’s security guard post. The area was covered with plants and vegetables that grew over a long period of time. Inside the security guard post, police found the body of an unknown man who was believed to be aged around 30 to 35. Initial investigations say that the man has already been dead for over 10 days. Police weren’t able to identify him as no ID cards, phone or documents were found with the man, which left the man unidentified.


Police presume that the man was a vagrant and that he had somehow died had died inside the security guard post. His body was sent to a police hospital for an autopsy.
