Couple Chased Down By Gunmen In Pattaya

A 22 year-old woman together with her 28 year-old boyfriend were furiously chased down gunmen, who used guns to attack them. It was believed that cause of the chase down was to get revenge.

PATTAYA – July 3, 2013 [PDN]; At 00.30 AM, Police officers of Banglamung police station were informed that a furious chase happened between gunmen and a couple, it was also reported that there was someone severely injured. After receiving the report, police and rescue officers rushed out to the incident. At the scene, police found 22 year-old Mr. Irada Jinda was shot on the back, which seriously injured her.

Police then questioned Ms. Irada’s boyfriend, 28 year-old Mr. Weerawat Putson. He told the police that as they were driving down the road on their motorcycle, suddenly another motorcycle drove up to them and shot Ms. Irada. He said that he saw two men wearing all black suits, after shooting Mr. Irada, they escaped.

Mr. Irada has now been sent to a local hospital for further treatment. Police presume that the chase down happened to get revenge for whatever reason. Police will now try to identify and arrest the suspects.
