A Male Beaten by his friends and stabbing one of them

A male hospital employee was beaten by more than 10 of his friends after he asked for gambling debt to be cleared. So he came back with resentment and used a knife to stab one of his friends until he got severely injured.

PATTAYA – July 2, 2013 [PDN]; At 3.00 a.m. Pol. Lt. Anocha Nanthachai, investigation officer of Pattaya police station, Chonburi province was notified there was the incident of arguing and a man had been stabbed. The incident occurred in front of N.S. Mansion, Soi Central Pattaya 10, Central Pattaya road, Moo 9 Tambon Nong Preu, Amphur Banglamung, Chonburi province. The detective rushed to inspect the scene. He arrived at the scene with the police forensic team.

At the scene of the incident, the officers found pieces of broken bottles and glass all over the ground. The ground was stained with blood. The stabbed victim had already been taken to Pattaya Memorial hospital by his friends. The police went to the hospital to investigate what had happened .The officers found out the injured man’s name was Mr. Prawit Klaokleang, age 34. He had been stabbed with a knife into his right arm. He had been severely injured and was having treatment. The officers questioned the friend of the injured man to find out what had happened.

The man said that the trouble maker was Mr. Veeraphong Chomthavorn who works as an employee at Pattaya Memorial hospital. Both the injured man and the trouble maker knew each other very well. Later, Mr. Veeraphong, the trouble maker, came to the hospital. He met with the police at Pattaya Memorial hospital where he confessed that before the incident had occurred he had played snooker in Soi Central Pattaya. He went there to ask for the unpaid debt from Mr. Yod. Yod had borrowed his money which was 1,200 THB so he could play high-low in a gambling den. This made Mr. Yod feel unsatisfied and brought Mr. Prawit to see him at the snooker club then they beat him until he was injured. After that Mr. Veeraphong followed them to their apartment where he was beaten again by a group of more than 10 friends of Mr. Yod and they also used glass bottles to hit him across the forehead. Mr. Veeraphong went back to take his 2 friends together to fight against Mr. Yod’s friends and he used the knife to stab Mr. Prawit that’s how he was severely injured.

After the initial investigation the police took all the evidence into account and will prosecute further according to the step of the law.
