I don't know of anyone who uses what we would consider a taxi at hime in Pattaya. You do see them around but I think they are only used for longer trips (eg to the airport.) Everyone uses either the baht bus system or motorbike taxis. They are both naturally airconditioned...

 

BTW yes you are right April will be hot.

I think I should point out that I was refering to Songkran....People on Baht Busses are prime targets for buckets of freezing cold water...especially if thay make a stop outside a bar...!!!
