sabai group

Featured Replies

which is best to stay in sabai lodge or sabai wing which rooms are quieter or which is best value for money or is any of the sabai group worth a visit

are both GF? if yes, they allow also 18/19 YO?

Stayed at Sabai Lodge, random room overlooking pool, room safe, very quiet hotel short walk to beach rd and baht buses. Nice compact pool with poolside bar. GF (no idea on 18/19yo). Room was a little small but typical hotel sized.

Last year I stayed at Sabai Lodge, this year at Sabai Wing.

The only difference I noticed was the size of the room. the Sabai Wing rooms are larger. That's the only reason I can think of why they are more expensive. There is no difference in facilities or decoration. If I get the choice again, I will stay at Sabai Lodge.

I am not in denial

i stayed at sabai resort 2nd rd next to big c very happy wil stay again

Always had pleasant stays. Sabai Lodge is a bit older and the cheapest rooms on the ground floor are a bit too basic and dark. but all other rooms are descent, the staff always friendly and helpful. Choice of 4 swimmingpools (1 with Jaccuzzi) is great, location excellent, any problems are promtly attended to.

excellent contact on premises:

Jittima (Ked)
Resident Manager
Sabai Lodge, Sabai Wing, Sabai Empress
She goes out of her way to rectify any problems you may have.

Internet connection is too slow for me (doing some work) but for e-mail etc it is ok.

good breakfast and other food.

Sabai New wing has nice and larger rooms and a great swimmingpool.

Go for it, you won't be disappointed. Look out for discounts in the low season!

hey ,

someone knows if sabai wing and sabai empress are girl friendly even if me and my friend at the same room ? (twin bed)

I stayed at the Sabai Wing for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago.The girls on reception were laughing when my barfine from Drinking St walked me to a cash machine to get her money in the morning,"no money no honey".Seemed a pretty relaxed place to me.Great smiley staff.Sabai Empress is right next door so take your pick.

I have stayed at Sabai Lodge 7 or 8 times now. I always get a smoking room on the Soi 2 side, main floor, for ease of access to the big pool and attached bar.

The Lodge is much older, and the bathrooms and such show it, but I just seem to like it a bit more.

Never had any problems bringing 1 (or more) ladies back with me.

The on-site restaurant, Sala Thai, is excellent, with a decent breakfast buffet, and really good Thai food, and they do have room service for those late starts.

The access to the baht busses on Soi 2 makes getting anywhere very easy, Big C is very close for those mid-day shopping trips, massage places  (big and small) are easy walking distance, and a couple of go go's and a reasonable beer bar complex are basically right outside the hotel for those lazy days when Soi 6 or WS just seem like too much work.

All-in-all, I have always enjoyed my stays there, and will probably stay there again in February or March, when I make my return to Pattaya.

i'm asking because i send an e mail and asking about girl friendly and there is the answer i get

Dear Sir,

Kindly inform if your reserved room stay 2 person when you have other guest

our hotel charge 500.-Baht/person/time.

And if you booked single per room when you have other guest our hotel not charge (only 1 person)

Best regards,

Phattraporn

maybe they change the policy?or maybe because he's a manager so this is the "official" answer?

If I had to share a hotel room in Pattaya with a mate,I just wouldn't bother going. If it's to save money, get a guesthouse instead of a hotel, there are plenty about & you will have a better time

so that's why i question cause we are 2 in the same room .

Their email doesn't make it clear, but I would guess they will charge you 500bht each if you both bring a girl back. That could mount up over the course of a 2 week stay.

Please note - as has been posted many times.

Companies must send emails covering official policy. Official policy and reality are very different thing.

Official policy - as per email - 500 baht for 2nd guest. Assuming you booked double occupancy (not the same as a double room) in the first place there is no charge for first guest.
