Be interested in any recommendations of Jontiem guesthouses/hotels under about 700bt a night, within 10-15 walk of the beach & the bar areas.

I've gone though the last several months of accommodation threads without finding anything useful.

Thanks for any help

Simple Simons is supposed to be ok. My mate stays there all the time. One minute to beach.

As much as I love all things Australian, I got to get me action of the asian persuasian.

Havent lived there myself, but many people say Hotel Danmark in Soi Withe House is a good place to stay.

I go there sometimes to eat at their breakfast buffe, it's a good value for 160 baht, at least for me that likes to eat real bread for breakfast.

  Have a look in here......http://www.hostelbookers.com/property/prp/41861/arr/2013-07-06/ngt/2/ppl/1/

I stayed here or 1 week with my GF. Nice place and it has a lift. Plenty of places around.. About 5 min walk to the beach rd. I rented a motor scooter from them for my week there...

Why don't you look at: "Dancewatchers" website. He has many Studio-Condos that can be available and are great value!!

Has anybody stayed at Siamcats Guesthouse in Soi 5 before ?.  How was your stay ?.  Website & prices look good.

Nice bar & girls, recommended for a drink or the golf-trips, but the room was absolutely tiny.

My ST was not impressed, and did a runner.

Usually stay in Bkk. Been thinking of trying Jomtien as it seems cheaper down there. This gives me something to look at to start and maybe move to longer term in the area. Any suggestions for that, like 1-3 mo. condos? Serviced apts.? Thanks
