On google maps I can see a street beside the family mart (the one on the right of Bay resort looking to the ocean) going to Areca Lodge.

Is it an open street? In my last staying at pattaya bay I didnt notice it and I used to walk through soi buakaow to get Lk metro!

 

Is this shortcut walkable?

I dont know what happen with title, hope mods can fix it!

Yes you can take a short cut threw this "street", although it is more of a wide alley, it is not well lit at night and watch out for the bikes speeding threw there but I have cut threw many times at all hours without a problem.

 

Also if you use the hotel tuk-tuk to LK, this is the route they take.

You can also walk thru the Areca Lodge Evergreen parking entrance to cross over to Soi Diana.

It is fixed.

 

This is a shortcut but I would avoid it at night.

From soi 15 which is the soi PBR is on, you can take a shortcut to soi Diane and on to LK Metro, by going down  a small connecting road.  You turn left at the 7/11 walking past the Pride condo. Not much lighting a bit smelly, moto drivers think its a toilet.

 

Also has someone said previously you can walk through the Areca lodge.

The thais call it soi PEE PEE as all the m/c guys on soi dianna use it when they have a piss.
