Mmmmm... I saw a man dressed in white cottin trousers and a white shirt with camera and a cloth bag (all looked a little back packer-ish) making his way down walking street last Friday night taking photos of the bars, clubs and girls. It was about 930 or 10pm. At the time I thought it was deliberate and did actually think of stickman. It just looked odd. I was sitting outside a beer bar opposite Mandarin and at that time yes sure it is quiet. I wonder...

While I agree that we should all take what Stickman says with a grain of salt, it's not hard to notice that from a vacationing mongers perspective that this is a VERY low season.

Interesting and accurate for low season I suppose of the main tourist sites.

 

Ok but as we know the mainly Brit sexpats have dropped back to new plaza, soi buakow and soi Diana/Lengkee areas now as the busy sexpat areas with many living further away.

 

Soi 7/8  been dying for while and only matter of time before that will be all hotels or condos??

It's an interesting article. But after stating how dead it all is, I feel he contradicts himself at the saying its busier now than the last two previous years.

I enjoy low season myself more women to go round and more bang for your baht.

One thing Stickman mentioned i noticed myself the other night. The short alley leading down to Happy a go go has 5 or 6 bars on the right. A few years back they used to be packed with farangs (myself included). The other night not one bar had a customer and the girls looked bored silly. OK it's low season but that can't be good in one of the main tourists areas.
