Police Arrest Teenager After Stealing Necklace

Pattaya police were able to arrest a teenager gang that snatched a gold necklace from a women at a traffic light junction in South Pattaya. The man that was arrested claimed that he needed money to support his wife and child.

Pattaya – June 21, 2013 [PDN]; At 04.00PM, police officers of Pattaya were informed that a woman’s necklace of a bar girl at a traffic light junction in South Pattaya. Police were able to catch only one of the gang members, the rest of the gang went to hide at an apartment in Soi Sophon market.

The man that was arrested was identified as 25 year-old Mr.Kwanchai Kasang, he was arrested together with his motorcycle that he used to commit the crime.

Miss Ratsamee Jantaloi, age 25, whose gold necklace was stolen, She told the police that while she was riding back home, her necklace was ripped off her as she was waiting at a traffic light. As soon as the gang escaped, she immediately informed the police.

Soon after the police were informed, they were able to track down and arrest the mentioned man.

After questioning him, the police were not convinced with his testimony, as police presume that he had done the same crime many times before.
