37 Year – Old Woman Kills Elder Belgian Man

PATTAYA – June 21, 2013 [PDN]; At 09.30 PM, Police Lt. Sombat Kaewmulmuk of Pattaya police station was informed that a foreigner was killed in a condominium in Central Pattaya. Locals were able to capture the murderer, right after she had committed the crime. Various investigations officers together with a voluntary rescue team was dispatched out to the incident.

When police arrived at the scene, they saw a group of local people together with municipal officers holding a woman that was believed to be the suspect, she was identified as 37 year-old Mrs. Boonta Phumlanao. Inside the room where the murder had happened, police found 78 year-old Mr Edouard Gabrielle Hubert, a Belgian national. He was lying dead on his bed with wounds on his chest, police presume that Mrs. Boonta stabbed him with a knife. The knife that was used to stab Mr. Edouard was a 15 cm. long kitchen knife, it was found in the very same room.

Police then questioned the Mrs. Boonta, the murderer, she claimed that she had been going out with Mr. Edouard for over 4 months now. She said that as they were having a drink in the room where murder happened, they suddenly argued, as Mr. Edouard was jealous of the other men that Mrs. Boonta was in contact with. She claimed that Mr. Edouard did slapped and assaulted first, which her grab and stab him, which ultimately killed him. After she had killed Mr. Edouard she ran down the condo and went to a security guard to tell him what had happened.

Police have now taken information from nearby witnesses that heard and saw the incident. Police will now further investigate and have now taken Mrs. Boonta to Pattaya police station for further questioning and prosecution.
