British Real Estate Agent Mysteriously Dies Near Potato Field

A millionaire British real estate agent went out for a run, but was later found dead near a potato field. Police couldn’t identify whether he was murdered or whether he had an accident.

SATTAHIP – June 16, 2013 [PDN]; Police Lt. Ubon Wongkamchai of Sattahip police station was informed that a body of a foreigner was found near a potato field. A voluntary rescue team was dispatched together with the police to investigate.

At the scene, the body of 57 year-old Nicholas Drew, a English national. He was later known to be the owner of the Nick’s apartment. He was describe to be lying dead without any shirt, wearing only pants. From an autopsy, it was initially known that there were injuries on his face and chest.

 

After questioning his wife, Mrs. Nick Drew, age 36, police found out that she had been together with Mr. Nicholas in Thailand for 14 years. She said that he was a healthy man, she also said that he regularly goes for a walk in the morning.

Police Lt. Ubon Wongkamchai revealed that the cause of his death can’t be confirmed yet. But police are doing their and have now conducted another autopsy and will now wait for the results to come out.

Why strange? In many cases it's not obvious (for a non-specialist) to determine the reason of death. Imagine a heart attack while walking or running and he falls down head first against the ground; he could have a very nasty injury but few people could say if because of the fall or because someone beat him. (Just an example)

If he had a heart attack, so it certainly autopsy finds, and its fall would surely was completely different from the fall, if it hits someone in the head, or hit by a motorcycle, killing or otherwise. Forensic forensic investigative techniques in this regard are already very precise and nearly perfect. Likewise, the injured areas affected will be plenty of tracks from different materials, which is relatively easy to accurately analyze and determine the cause of death.

Some people actually do have happy functioning relationships with normal women and successful profitable businesses you know.

 

Odds are it was an accident because Thais are some unobservant space cadet drivers.  The driver ran because an accident with death is a criminal offense with potentially expensive consequences (financial ruin for someone of modest means or jail) even if just an accident and the drive is not at fault (criminally by Western standards ie not stoned, drunk, etc).
