Jeez is this argument still ongoing. Buy a Nokia basic phone. It calls and sends sms. What more do you need in patts

Not to continue the argument, but the fellow I mentioned earlier - Douglas Englebart - died today. Not only was he the inventor of the mouse, but arguably the inventor of the graphic interface which he called QuickDraw, later to be part of the early Apple Macintosh system. As well, in 1960 he discovered the issues in shrinking electronics that would later form Moore's Law, he helped promote real-language programming (as opposed to binary or cobol) and early databases in the form of NLS, and helped develop the ARPANet - the original backbone of the Internet (and where my first email address came from).
