Grandmother Poisons Nephew And Poisons Herself Right After

A grandmother poisoned her 7-year-old nephew, after she was sure her nephew, she drank the same poison she used on her nephew. She was found dead hugging her dead nephew. Her son was the first person to discover the bodies.

PHRAE – June 14, 2013 [PDN]; At 6.30 p.m. Police Maj. Phutthiwat Wongsirithanadol,An investigation officer of Nongmuangkhai police station, Phrae province was informed that there were was an elder women and a young boy found dead at a house. Police immediately rushed to the scene to investigate.

At the incident, police found the bodies of Mrs. Athitaya Rattanaworaphop, age 47, the owner of the house and the corpse of 7 year-old Theeraphol Rattanaworaphop. A glass of water mixed with insecticide was found along with a bottle of insecticide. Police have now taken the two bodies for an autospy.

Initially, police assume that as the incident occurred Mrs. Athitaya decided to mix insecticide with water to poison her nephew and waited until she was sure that her nephew had already. She then drank insecticide soon after. Doctor said Mrs. Athitaya and her nephew had already died 8-12 hours. Police will now further investigate the incident.
