I have stayed in both.... If I were you I would take the cheaper Deluxe rooms... the Terrace rooms are quite a bit smaller.

Best to skip the terrace, nothing to see anyway. I've stayed here 5 times and this is my favorite hotel in this price range. The 15 minute

walk to Sukhumvit less than ideal but taxis are cheap. hotel is run by same group as Majestic Suite and Majestic Grande. Staff is very

well trained, always a nice greeting, even noting how many times you've stayed there. Breakfast is similar to Majestic Suites, just the basic

sit down breakfast. Can usually find a rate around 2000, book well ahead if staying on the weekend. Sliding wall so you can soak in the tub and

watch tv, but no speaker in the bathroom.

Couldn't agree more mate. On one of my stays there I was "upgraded" to a room with a terrace and I would have rather stayed in a standard room! I plan to stay there again on my upcoming trip.... Anyone else stayed there recently?

Re the joiner fees.......

 

I think we all realise that 'most' hotels will allow up to 2 people in the room without a joiner fee incurring.

 

I had a twin room with my mate. On loads of occasions, we came back with a girl each and there wasn't an issue. In fact, we brought girls back and decided they were annoying us and escorted them out the hotel.

 

We then went up to the main Sukhumvit Road and got another couple of little beauties and, within 30 mins, we were back with 2 more girls.

 

Again, the reception staff did not suggest any joiner fees.

 

This is a great place to stay and a good place to be located in the middle of Suk Road.

 

The walk up to Suk Road isnt bad. 5 mins tops. Its better if you walk straight out and up Soi 11. Much more going on and lots to look at

Its a very nice place to stay...stayed last year for 3 nights,only issue was the room being small and no open spaces .u feel kinda locked up and there is always some kinda damp smell in the alley and rooms

Will stay there again ...and hope to find some window open.....
