Low Season Tourist Hit by Real Rain

I have just seen some photos of the near flood problems, yet again. I reflect on a lot of 2012/2013 high season videos and photos of WS and the total take over by "sightseers'" or tourists!

All couples not many individual men or "mongerers" 

You cannot see inside the GG's but the bars are empty yet "Thai logic" kicks in, less business, charge more.

Funnily enough particularly in WS no matter what they promise outside these tourists are so scared of the rip offs, they will not venture inside.

Well in some way we don't want the 'normal tourist crowd' filling up the bars, though they will buy a few drinks, but nothing else.

 

My wife who is in BKK at the moment told me it has been pouring down up there. Well it is the rainy season, so to be expected.

 

There is nothing like the the local response when business is quiet - up all charges! Crazy.

555 I see where you are coming from, yet my first trip 60THB to the GBP and GG LT 1000, it was not that long ago.

WS that I have not used for a few years certainly are not at those rates now when the currency level is at least 25% in favour of LOS.
