I think you'll find the "Thai warranty" is just a warranty offered by the shop you are buying it from. The cheaper phones are grey imports intended for other markets.

No idea, but I'd go for the Nexus 4 [and did], $350 for 32gb.  It's a great phone.  Samsung phones are good, but expensive and I don't see the extra value.

So I bought a Note2 for 17500.

Has anyone got experience with the S3 mini copies at around 2500/2900 baht. Are the copies all made by the same company or are there different quality of copies.

 

One of my girl friends has one and it seems to work well apart from the camera which is obviously not 5 megapix. Probably 2 megapix.

I recently bought a S4 in TukCom, Atom Phone. The owner is my wifes friend, so no scams. One thing for everybody whowants to buy S4 is different models. I9500 is 3G asian model, you will probably get this if you don't specify. It has only english and several asian languages. And it will never have european languages unless you root it and install custom rom. I9505 however came with all european languges. I9505 is 500-1000 baht more expensive than I9500, but it is worth it. Also OTA-updates work well.
