Nikkei dives more than 5 per cent on yen's rise, overseas losses

Tokyo - Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 Stock Average plunged 5.2 per cent Thursday morning as market sentiment was undermined by a stronger yen and overnight losses on Wall Street and European markets.
