I browse thro' the website of Diamond city place. It locates on Pattaya south road, near the 3rd road. The month rate of a studio is 7000 baht up, water & electricity exclusive, which is very attractive.

Has anyone stayed there?

What's your review of the apartment and location?

Is there any construction site nearby?

Pls give me some advice, thx. :Think1: :Think1: :Think1:

Stayed there my last trip.  Stayed in a superior room for 10,600 per month.  I liked the room but was on the back side so not much of a veiw, but the other side of the hall faces S. Pattaya Road probably better view.

Small deck but big room.

Yes the safes are behind the desk, I prefer it that way.

They charge a deposit equal to the rent and put it on your credit card, to make the reservation. Then give it to you in Baht as you leave, witch in this case was 1:00 AM as the taxi was there to go to airport.

Staff very friendly.  Location good if on bike. Some baht buses go that way but not a lot.

Overall good value,  may want to check out a day early to get your deposit back unless you

are leaving during day you could exchange it for your home currency

5 minutes walking distance to Friendship Supermarket and 15-20 minutes walking to Walking street.

Don't think there are any baht buses, but not sure!?

If you check there website http://www.diamondcitypattaya.com and click on accomodation it will show you the diffrent room types including a room plan.

There are occasional baht buses that go to Third Road but they are rare and especially at night with a female companion you will need to either use a bike taxi or hire a baht bus.

Havent stayed there myself but I did go to have a look as I wanted to book a room for a 6 week stay but they didnt have the room I wanted available. As far as I can remember the rooms looked fine, wifi was available but charged extra, the pool was okay but small, safe behind reception, staff seemed friendly and the whole place seemed to clean and well maintained.

Stayed there a couple of years ago. The front had an open space which is now filled with a low-level complex. But if you choose a high floor, the balcony should have street views. Good wifi connection. Baht buses ply the route to walking street, but are infrequent. A stroll to walking street or Soi Bukao will take about 20-30 minutes. Getting the baht bus back is easier from the cross-section to 2nd road at any time, especially after the walking street night out. Friendship supermarket is conventient and only 5 minutes away. Nice rooms with the superior having a kitchenette. Since then, I have preferred the Mosaic apartments which is next to TUK.COM supermarket on the same street and much closer to walking street and soi Bukao. Only about 15000 a month plus water and electricity. Very popular and early booking advised.

It's a great hotel, I stay there all the time since I sold my condo. I was there in April and will be there again in July for two months. I find the standard rooms excellent value, but this time I have opted for a room with cooking facilities at the higher rate. I think it is well situated for most activities if you are not afraid of walking ten minutes here and there. Baht buses can be hailed at the entrance to get you near Walking Street @ Second Road. Oh! There is a great little pool on 2nd floor too!! Enjoy your stay. :GoldenSmile1:
