It was reported that electric wires were connected to an alarm which made it look like a bomb. There was also a note written along with fake bomb saying “You will die, old woman!”. A bomb disposal squad then put a tire around the bomb defused, but it turned it out to be a fake bomb.

From further investigating, police found out that the package was sent to Ms. Boonrudee. Ms. Boonrudee said that she believes her friend sent the package to prank her. Her friend was identified as Mr. Apichart, a friend of Ms. Boonrudee.

As soon as police learned his name, they called Mr. Apichart. He swiftly admitted that he did place the fake bomb and death note in the postbox to Ms. Boonrudee. He was charged 500 THB for unnecessarily summoning police and bomb disposal officers to the scene.
Police said that the alarm clock was sold over the internet from Chinese sellers, the alarm clock looked a lot like a C4 bomb. Police said that they shouldn’t buy the alarm clock to scare other people as it might create another unnecessary hassle.
