Police Raid Karaoke Place That Hired Under – Age Prostitutes

The CWPC (Children Women Family Protection and Anti Human Trafficking) raided a karaoke shop that offered under-age prostitutes to their customers.

PATTAYA – June 12, 2013; At 04.00 AM, Police officers of Pattaya City police station together with the CWPC arrested 39 year-old Mr. Sanya Kheawying, the owner of the Karaoke. Police were able to seize documents, lists of the workers of his karaoke place and various other things. He was suspected of hiring under-age girls as prostitutes at his karaoke place, which undoubtedly breaks the law.

Mr. Sanya’s karaoke place or shop was long suspected of having under-age girls working at the karaoke shop as prostitutes. Police then sent an undercover police officer in order to find out and gather evidence. A 3000 THB was paid to Mr. Sanya to buy-out one of the girls at karaoke shop. After he had done this, police swiftly created a plan to raid and arrest Mr. Sanya, which lead to the reported raid and arrest.

Mr. Sanya confessed all of his crimes, he is now in police custody. He will now be severely charged by the police for his criminal acts.
