How much downtime from a STD?

Curious if anyone can share some stories about getting an STD during your trip and how long it kept you out of action. After all this reading of STDs on the forum... I would like to know what guys do if they find out they have one and still have two to three weeks left on their trip.... which STD's are easily and quickly solved compared to the ones that are persisitent and bound to ruin your trip?

It all depends on what you get and how fast and if symptoms appear. In my recent bout with the clap symptoms did not show up for about 2 weeks after. Once I had flames shooting out of crank and a constant drip I immediately went to the doctor. There able to take your piss and get results in 24 hours. My doc decided to just give me the cure without the lab work since it was obvious I either had gono or cly. Once I had the meds in me I was good to go in 48-72 hours, but you should not engage in sexual activity for a week once u get the treatment.

 

I would plan on being on the disabled list for at least 5 days from your initial treatment for the two most common forms of vd.

I think it depends on how much blood and puss you find in your briefs.

Just dont risk it, as long as you keep it safe you will be fine.

Btw I think 1 week max.
