Go Go Bar Owner Arrested After Employing Under – Age Girls

The CWPC (Children Women Family and Anti Human trafficking) police officers arrested a Go Go bar owner who employed 2 girls under the legal age of 18 in his bar.

PATTAYA – June 9, 2013 [PDN]; At 06.00 AM, various Police Lt. Colonels from the CWPC teamed up to arrest 48 year-old Ms. Pantri Chuenarom, who was the employer and owner of the Go go bar.

Police Maj. General Koson Puawet, Vice Commissioner of the CWPC, ordered police officers to investigate a Go-go bar that was suspected of prostituting under-age girls to foreigners. The bar was located at the Soi ‘Post office’ in Pattaya Klang. Police then sent an undercover police officer to see whether its true or not, regarding the under-age sex trade. The undercover officer directly asked the owner of the bar for an under-age girl, and he did find what he wanted, an under-age girl. As soon as the transaction happened, the police officers that were in position outside the bar, they went in to arrest Ms. Pantri Chuenarom. Police were able to find another under-age girl who worked in the bar as well.

From questioning Ms. Pantri Chuenarom, she confessed that she did employ and offered the under-age girl to tourists for money. She now is in police custody and will now be prosecuted

Hot & Cold has been going to the dogs for years. They moved the action to an upstairs venue some time back, but it still sucked. The last time my friend and I visited the place, it was filled with wild looking, deformed maidens who just stared at us as we walked in. We took a quick around and fled back down the stairs.

As the two girls are pictured and they are clearly not children who are going to interest paedos I dont see how they are going to be able to charge top baht. Underage girls working in Pattaya is clearly a disturbing issue but knee jerk responses about children and  paedos when the girls are clearly pictured just make posters look stupid.

Totally agree there is a world of difference between a peodafile who preys on young children than one who because of the law in Thailand makes it unlawful to have paid sex with someone under 18.

 

Some of these girls when dressed up and with make up or even without look 18 sometimes its hard to know for sure one thing for sure is they would not appeal to a peodafile who by their very nature would be looking for very young girls.

 

In he UK the age of consent is set at 16 so would that make someone who had sex with a 16 or 17 year old a peodafile or would the answer be yes in Thailand but no in he UK?

 

I agree if in Thailand you must obey the law in Thailand, but to call them a peodafile is very far from the truth especially when looking at the photo's.

 

Remember some of these girls get married at 14 or 15 in the villages.

According to Thai laws, under 15yo is considered as a child, and over 15yo is a person. As in many other countries, there is no mention about paedophlia in Thai laws. It is probably considered as a medical word, and so, can be applied to children before or on early puberty, and certainly not to the girls shown on the pictures

Very true.  Most of these girls look 18+ especially when made up, easy to be duped. Age of consent differs in different countries, you have to abide by the laws of the country you are in, but think wrong to label some people as paedophiles, you think maybe naively if a girl works in a bar she is old enough and if she tells you she is 18- 19 she is telling the truth, ,

The age of consent for prostitution is 18 in Europe and Thailand. I don't know where you get 21 from.
